Comic Relief 2019
The girls danced at Cardiff Castle on Tuesday 12th March at Cardiff Castle as a promotion for this year's Comic Relief - Red Nose Day.
We were very lucky with the weather and the impending Storm Gareth held off.

Gates of Derry Feis 2019
This year Fion and Abi travelled to Derry/Londonderry and successfully danced at the Gates of Derry Feis with Abi achieving a personal best and winning the Preliminary Championship.
This Feis was made even more special as Michelle's mother, Lilian O'More ADRG was there to see both girls dance and this was the first time Michelle has taken any dancers back to her home city to compete.  Lilian is actually the oldest Irish Dancing teacher in the world and will be 93 this year.

All Ireland Irish Dancing Championship 2019
Three of the dancers from the school went to the All Ireland's which were held in Killarney, County Kerry, Ireland.
The three dancers, Michael O'Flaherty and sisters Ffion and Abi Elson all danced really well and as a school we are very proud of them and what they achieved. They were up against very stiff competition from all over the world, there were dancers from numerous countries including Argentina, Australia, Canada, USA, many more and of course the hosting nation, Ireland.

World Irish Dancing Championship 2019
Following on from dancing at the World's last year in Glasgow where Erin Flaherty and Ffion Elson both qualified and represented Wales, Ffion has again qualified for the World Championships. Erin has gone on to university studying medicine and unfortunately was unable to enter the qualifiers this year as she is tied up with her studies.

As a school we are incredibly proud of Ffion and everyone is busy raising money to help fund her trip.

This year the World Championships are being held in Greensboro, North Carolina, USA.

'Jonathan Show' - S4C
The girls made a recent appearance on the Jonathan Show, hosted by Jonathan Davies.
They opened the show dancing with the well know rugby referee Nigel Owens who was dressed as a leprechaun, later in the show they also had Shane Williams up dancing.

'Chwarter Call' - S4C
Wednesday 28th July saw some of the girls out on location with the cast and crew of Chwarter Call  a Welsh language comedy sketch show for young children and teenagers that will be showing on S4C in the New Year - watch this space for the date it is being broadcast, we will let you know as soon as we have confirmation.

Congratulations Marie Maguire TCRG
Congratulations to Marie Maguire who has passed her TCRG and is now a partner in the newly named O'Donnell Maguire School of Irish Dancing.

Tredegar House Folk Festival - 2016
Yet another great day at this regular event, this year was slightly different as we had a 'live' Bodhran player with us, Michelles husband - Gareth.
After the main display some of the girls went and joined the musicians at the Irish Music workshop where they could relax and dance with the musicians.  A big thank you to all the girls and parents for your hard work and support.
Why not look at the Tredegar House Folk Festival website.  www.tredegarhousefestival.org.uk

St. Patricks Day
Again the girls were in great demand with numerous requests for Irish Dancing Displays in the week leading up to St. Patricks Day.
I would like to say a big thank you to everyone for all the hard work and time  you put into making all the displays a great success.  All the venues were over the moon with your performance.
Again, O'Neill's have said thank you for the help with getting the public to 'Join Our Jig' by encouraging customers to take an active part in the display.

O'Donnell Class Feis 2016
The last Class Feis was held at Rhiwbina Memorial Hall, 1 Lon Ucha, Rhiwbina, Cardiff, CF14 6HL.
Our Adjudicator was Mr. Michael Mcinerney ADCRG.

We had number of new dancers for whom it was their first Feis. I hope they enjoyed the experience as they all danced really well, I am proud of you all.
I would also like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who helped out both before the Feis and on the day to make it the success it was and a special thankyou to all the parents for your continued support without which there would be no Feis.
